Many women who I meet these days are often shopping ‘unconsciously’ which tends to result in the old case of lots of clothes but nothing to wear OR wearing the same 20% of their wardrobe 80% of the time. This shopping behaviour is a result of the way our high street has gone over the last 10 years. For example now the choice of what to wear and where to buy it from is quite overwhelming for many women – there is simply often too much choice. As the fashion retail market is so saturated fashion brands have to often compete much of the time on price. As prices have dropped and shops like Primark have made fashion much more accessible, women’s perception of real ‘value’ has shifted. Continue reading
